I've got a starter with a 56 endurance rating. I won't let him go over 100 pithes and he's gone 6+ innings in his 4 starts so far. I play out all of the games, so it's easy to keep track of him.
I think if you limit him to 100-105 pitches per start, he'll be fine. Just make sure you have a few MRs with high endurance ratings to cover the extra work.
