The ratings seem pretty on except for one worry. I am a hands-off, GM-only style player. I let my managers at every level pick my lineups/depth chart/rotation (what am I paying them for right?). Well my worry was that my manager always picks a combo of Loretta/Berkman over Berkman/Lee at 1B/LF. Loretta is rated 53/26/44, Berkman 66/87/68, and Lee 58/67/40. Why is that? As a matter of fact the AI benches Lee against both lefties and righties even though he is one of the best rated hitters on the team. I have run into the same problem at other positions as well with Geoff Blum being picked to start over Kaz Matsui at 2B even though Matsui has better ratings, both actual and potential. Against lefties, the AI picks Jose Cruz Jr (39/38/62) to start in left field over Lee. Any help or remedy for this is appreciated.

That's more of a quirk with the AI, not the rosters themselves. One thing that might work (although it might not be realistic) is to take away Loretta's 1B rating so Houston has no choice but to play Berkman there. There's also a similar problem with the Mets outfield, the AI likes to play Ryan Church in center while Endy Chavez plays left and Pagan so I removed Church's CF rating altogether. Again, it might not be totally realistic but it should produce a more realistic result.
