I Think the Health Status window is designed for pre-game information regarding whether to play a pitcher in the game. Once in the game you revert to the other (in-game) screen to see how he's doing
during the game.
I got faked out by this once with a pitcher who was pitching a no-hitter. I pulled him because that pre-game screen showed him as being exhausted. He really wasn't. Now, I'll never know if he would have pitched a no-hitter.
