OK, I did a little tooling around and here's what I found:
When I saved my league setup as a template prior to hitting START GAME, I got the dreaded scheduling error/crash.
I setup my league with the aforementioned 3 divisions and 88 games, DID NOT save the template and everything was fine. I went back in, setup a dummy league, saved template, and got the error. Any attempt to reload the template resulted in a crash.
I'm pretty sure I used to save templates prior to starting leagues with v07 with no problem, but I don't remember. I would think if someone wanted to recreate this it wouldn't be too tough. I'm also not convinced this is the sole problem but I'm guessing it has something to do with templates.
