I just had the same thing happen. Player's League, deleted in 1890...trying to draft now in 1894 preseason.

Edit: Crashed out my game (didnt save), reloaded it, and ran it again. It worked ok (no PL trying to draft). Here's what was different though:

First time through, I added a new league (Southern Association). This is when the deleted PL tried to draft. Crashed game. Restarted game, did NOT add Southern Association. PL did not try to draft.
