Good point, Chris! We aren't all that far away. I keep saving up my leave in case I retire, but maybe need to take a road trip - next summer! I spent 2 months of virtual agony, but my decks, at least, are maintenance free. I need to do my porch railings, and am looking into replacing them with composite as well.
And, as you paint and curse, I am envious in that you have a wonderful (most of the time) wife and a bevy of cute kids
. I'd trade my maintenance-free anything for that - but not to get back together with Psycho Bride, even though we email now.
Hopefully, the end of the painting is in sight!
