I ran a sim from 1901-2007 and the only high modifier I ended up with was for Sac Bunts. Everything else was below 1.500.

I suggest setting your own Strategy Settings and tell OOTP not to auto-update them. For example, you can set Pitcher Endurance to Normal or Low for all seasons and you will still get the proper SP usage because the automatic League Totals Modifier will automatically compensate for that. I usually set Hit and Run to Very Rarely because I think on higher settings it increases offense a bit more because baserunners will tend to get an extra base on singles more often...at least that's what I think is the case.
