Happened to me, too.
Mac OS-X leopard, MBP 2.33GHz, OOTP9 with the new patch.
Tried a test sim to see if this happens to me.
Fictional league, default setting.
1. Sim until the middle of the spring training
2. Open the pitching report from the team home page.
3. Set to the spring training, then the game crashes.
I did the test sim twice, same result twice.
