do you have a mac? I have the newest mac book pro and experienced a similar problem.
When I try to load/continue my season, I get the following "error" message:
DATABASE::load_database - could not load world file.
I then click "ok" and a box appears that says:
the loading of the database failed. It is either corrupt or a save-game from an old version.
I cannot advance beyond this point.
