So I went ahead and started the season without running the pitching stats report in Spring Training. I successfully simmed the entire season, including playoffs without anymore crashes or bugs. I am now on the first day post playoffs. I can successfully create all the reports without crashing and I don't even see the titling error on the batting report anymore.
I'll sim through to Spring Training and let you know what happens then.
(By the way, the previous instances of crashing were all triggered when clicking on the drop down menu under the reports tab reached from the team home page. Not from the links located on the manager home page. I never tried those while in Spring Training.)
