Sorry, i disagree. Your approach is false. When you were right every first round pick in the MLB would be a superstar and inducted in the HoF.
The fact is (esp. for the inaugural draft) that you will have almost no realiable hard facts and even when a player has been scouted the scout will have seen only some games games (or innings) of a player so that reports have to be inaccurate by a wide margin. That`s life.
The challenge is to deal with these limits.
