What happens then? Can you load the game properly? Are your face features retained when the game regenerates picture?

Well, the good news is it doesn't crash.
The bad news is I get a message saying: "Error: DATABASE::load_database - could not load faces file", and when I click OK it tells me something lke "Could not load league, database is corrupt". I couldn't write it down because it crashed, like, 5 seconds later.
Thankfully, I could restore the OOTP9 faces file and it worked again although the old problem is still there.
