You do have a good point. However, I can't seem to find any contract information for veterans, and in a huge inaugural draft, it's tough to keep track of who you drafted, how good they are, and how much they'll add to your payroll. Maybe have the contracts already calculated?
Or even a little thing at the bottom of the draft screen that displays your estimated payroll after the draft? PING: Markus?
