I registered here quite some time ago, but rarely posted. I tried the demo of OOTP7 and OOTP8 but with no "immersion" for me, I stayed with Puresim.

I received an email about OOTP9 mentioning sound was in the game and it sold me...I always wanted OOTP...but I needed some sound for the immersion...otherwise I just couldn't get past the fact it was a program with a lot of stats.

I know and heard other people say they didn't need sound, but I did. It helps with the immersion for me...and because I play every game, I need to feel the game.

So kudos for them putting sound in...it sold me right away.

Just so I'm clear, I will continue to play Puresim though...it's a great game in it's own right.
