Colby is also a notoriously slow starter, so I suppose there is a little more than just pure numbers involved there too. Maybe not the best example to anyone that doesnt follow the cardinals. I Apologise.
But am I wrong about the second part Markus? didn't you mention in the thread about rosters before the release that 30-40 ratings are average?
Would you be willing to break it down more on what your opinion would be?
What ratings ranges would be expected for a bench player? 20-30s?
Average MLB starter 30-40?
Good MLB starter 50+
MLB Superstar 70+
Does that seem like a fair template?
Because if so, then the majority of players are grossly underated in the rosters.
Right now it seems the key is to get everyone on the same page, figure out the ratings system a little better.. and go from there.
Also I'd like to see the roster makers take the few seconds to look at the minor league report... its a huge tool that I'm using in cleaning up the rosters because it allows me to go back and up the ratings a little bit on someone after I've done them, in order to make sure they capable of playing at the level they should be at... This is the problem in the rosters now with no one at AAA.. almost no one in the set is good enough to play in AAA and thats just not right
