Ball flight is unexpectedly great - really adds to the feel of the game.
I'm a little uncomfortable without a working manual. Too many unanswered questions and awkward surprises. For example; I have been playing exhibition games while trying to figure out how the new features work. In the middle of the 5th inning I realized that my starting pitcher had thrown 170 pitches! Since I was testing the ball flight grid I was using the same team - and the 4-man pitching rotation had rolled over. It seems that all the exhibition games that I had been playing had all been taking place on the same day, and the fatigue was carrying over! Without a manual describing exhibition games, I have no way of knowing if I have just ruined my pitcher's arm right before preseason.
There seems to be no way to control the volume range of the crowd noise.
While the new version is exciting, it's going to take some getting used to.
