Let me start by saying that I don't have any probs whatsoever if I have to d/l the game a week after release. That said, apart from the mirrors and stuff, there are other ways to prevent what happened yesterday. For example, releasing the game in the morning, Markus time, so most of those not in the US get it. Then Americans would d/l it as they wake up without crowding the server in the hundreds at the same time. I believe there were around 700 customers on the boards the moment the game was released.
