The Baltimore Orioles have signed former Chicago White Sox outfielder Walt "No Neck" Williams to a minor league contract. He will be assigned to the Triple-A Odell Rams.

"He's not Ted Williams or Billy Williams or even Dick Williams," said Baltimore GM Dan V. "But, just to have a player nicknamed No Neck must be worth something."
