I will venture to guess what will happen in that case. Once you get into the game, the book, for that is what it is, will sit on your shelf unread except for the few times that you have to refer back to a specific section for some refresher. Then you will get tired of having to leaf through it to find that section (the manual has an excellent Table of Contents but it alone is 21 pages!) and you will say to yourself, "Say, what was that guy, 1978 Yankees or something, talking about using the manual in Adobe Reader? Let me try that instead."
