Tonight, Cubs outfielder Alfonso Soriano had his season put on hold for about six weeks after he was hit in the hand with a pitch (to add insult to injury, the pitcher who did it was a scrub substituted at the last minute). As of tonight, the Cubs have the best record in major league baseball. What is losing Soriano for a month and a half going to do to them?
