There are certainly things I miss about OOTP 6.5, but more than anything this thread makes me realize how far the game has come since then, and how much more customizable the UI is now. My goodness, looking back at 6.5 feels like seeing a screenshot from a game I played on my 386.

The current UI certainly can be refined, however. The excess number of clicks required to perform common operations does tend to grate on the nerves. But I could never go back to a previous version of the game.

The transactions screen was a major sticking point for me in 2006. But with the option to scale resolution in 2007, it's been solved.
