June 11, 1884 - Frank Brill of the Detroit Wolverines, a rookie, was at the top of his game against the Chicago White Stockings this afternoon as he threw the 2nd no-hitter in baseball history. Brill accomplished this feat in his only his 5th start of his young career. So far, this has to be the lone bright spot for the Wolverines as they are in 8th place with a 9-23 record, 15 games out of first.
