At the moment it's one league, two subleagues, 16 teams, each with an extensive minor league system. The name of one of the subleagues was changed recently, and about half a dozen leagues fell by the wayside within a period of about 10 years, 35 years ago (per universe calendar).
The folder for this particular game within "Saved Games" has to be 25 gig by now, maybe more.
