I have already sent an e-mail to the folks at the Lahman website and am waiting for a response but I thought I would throw this out here as well. I understand 400 Software Studios does not officially support the Lahman database.

I have Excel 1997 on my computer. Will the new version work with this or do I need to download a previous version of the database? In trying to create historical leagues with the new database, I get the message "cannot open database". The league will continue to load- the teams will show up but the players will not.
In checking the different files from the dowmloaded database, when I open the folder entitled "Batting" I get a message stating "File not loaded completely". Could this be causing the problem? If so how can I correct it?

OS- Windows 98, 256 mgs ram, 433 megahurtz, 32 gigs free space (2 hard drives)- D - 9 gigs, C- 22 gigs
