- I really like the lineups so far, except for Ramirez and Uribe in them. I certainly hope when Owens gets off the DL that he is NOT leadoff. I like Swisher in the leadoff spot and Cabrera 2nd. Best lineup Ive seen in years.
- Masset and Vasquez looked fantastic. Except for one bad inning for Vasquez (the HBP, BB, BB inning) these two have been most impressive.
So far, we are 0-2. I can pinpoint it to: Buerhle getting shelled. Ramirez in the lineup, bad umps and a great outing by Carmona. Hope we can get at least one game of this series! |

I find it moderately ironic that the two runs scored today were by 2 guys you called out, Crede and Uribe. I think Uribe should be shipped out once Richar is healthy. You're spot on about Crede/Fields. Ramirez does look overwhelmed. He was so friggin happy once he got his first hit. BA will either be a bust or an allstar in his baseball career. It's looking like the former if they dont give him a shot. He proved he can hit this spring, but I doubt they trust him after his previous regular season performances thus far.
