Felix Savon, Cuba, 16-1-0 (14) vs Wayne Braithwaite, Guyana, 15-3-0 (15)

Felix Savon takes on Wayne "Big Truck" Braithwaite here in our main event. Savon is going to stay away from Braithwaite's left hand, which is the hand that he finishes all his fights with. The Big Truck, 14-7, in the 1st round. Savon does a better job, circling to his left and sneaking in some quick jabs, 17-9, in the 2nd. A beautiful left cross puts Savon down here in the 4th. But Savon gets up and does a great job of avoiding any more punishment, not getting hit once after the knockdown. Looks like Savon has recovered after the knockdown, as he has a good comeback 5th, 24-6. Braithwaite has some swelling around his left eye. The 7th is a wash as both fighters take a round off. Braithwaite does a little more work in the 8th to win the round. Savon looks hurt in the 9th and he is down again from a crushing left uppercut that ends this fight! Braithwaite imposes his will and his left hand and has amassed his 16th victory all by knockout!

Winner: Braithwaite
Result: (KO9)
Cards: 76-76, 77-75 Braithwaite, 77-74 Braithwaite
Punch stats: 172-389, 44.2% Savon - 149-807, 18.5% Braithwaite

Kid Chocolate, Cuba, 1-0-0 (1) vs Alberto Pearson, Cuba, 2-0-0 (1)

Both fighters come into this fight undefeated and in excellent shape. Chocolate has Pearson hurt in the 1st, 17-6, as he doubles up on the hook for his best punch of the round. 8-6, Chocolate, in a close 2nd. Pearson has developed some swelling early in this fight around the right eye because he is unable to get out of the way of Kid Chocolate's offensive attack. 19-6, Chocolate in round 4 and 22-3 in round 5. Pearson is fading fast and his eye is swelling shut. The 6th is just as bad for Pearson, 22-0. A hard combination of blows suddenly puts Pearson on his back here in the 8th. Pearson is working with one eye and is unable to get out of the way of Kid Chocolate's fast hands, 19-0, in round 9. The doctor has come up to the ring three times in the last two rounds and has allowed the fight to go on, but finally puts a stop to this fight as Pearson continues to receive relentless abuse from Kid Chocolate here in the 10th round.

Winner: Chocolate
Result: (TKO10)
Cards: 90-79, on all three cards in favor of Chocolate
Punch stats: 92-151, 60.9% Pearson - 423-867, 48.8% Chocolate
