Chava Sanchez looks to maintain his unblemished record as he enters the ring against Sergio Matos. Sanchez lands first, Matos responds. Sanchez lands again, and again Matos counters in a pretty close 1st round. Sanchez takes the 2nd round 11-3. Matos the 3rd, 8-6. Matos has been doing a good job of moving his head and blocking punches with his arms but allows Sanchez to dictated the pace in the 4th and 5th rounds, 24-3, 28-6. Matos has developed some swelling around his right eye. Sanchez lands a combination that puts Matos on the floor. Matos is up but has sustained a cut. Sanchez continues to come forward and pours it on Matos until the referee is force to step in and save the fighter from further punishment.
