Right. That's how Microsoft did it with Windows, right? "Order this, we promise you it will be something cool although we don't know what, exactly."
To make a remote stab at being productive in this thread, I will say that any of the following three things would swing me immediately over to the "I will buy this this instant" crowd (preferably at least two out of three):
- Reconfiguration of pitcher stamina to be dependent upon pitch quality and conditioning, not some inherent physical trait
- Reconfiguration of defensive ratings to acknowledge that while players are generally considered "naturals" at certain positions, anyone who can play SS or CF can almost certainly play any other IF or OF position
- Ability to create players from statistics, the way the game itself can do (and the way most/all competitors or semi-competitors on the market do)
