Firpo comes back in the 2nd and lands a right cross that has Cotto hurt, 16-4, Firpo in the 2nd. The big Argentinian's height and length seem to be causing Cotto problems, 11-10, Firpo in the 3rd. 13-9, Firpo in the 4th. Cotto gets inside of Firpo's reach and lands some nice body shots, 16-3, Cotto in the 5th. Firpo misses with a left and Cotto counters with a right hook that puts the big man down in the 6th, 21-9, Cotto. A hook and uppercut has Cotto hurt at the beginning of the 7th. Cotto doesnt respond until he is outlanded 27-0, and goes down here in the 7th. The referee gets to ten and Firpo has a knockout victory 40-4 in 7th, in front of a stunned crowd in Puerto Rico!
