Unification bout ahead in late 1955...
There have been rumors that the camps of WBO Champion, Joe Louis, and WBC Champion, Chuck "No Doubt" Norton have been discussing a possible unification bout at the end of 1955. Of course, both fighters would have to win their required mandatory defenses for this fight to happen. This would be a much anticipated superfight. Norton has only one defeat to Mike Tyson and Louis' only defeat came to Norton in the 2nd professional bout of each fighters career. Let's all hold our breath that each fighter can successfully defend his title so that this bout can take place.
