This has probably been reported, but my biggest issues seems to be with fan interest. It seems that I lose tons of fan interest when i trade ANYONE (because it seems nearly everyone is locally popular). However, I never get any boost to fan interest with the player I get back even if he has nationally popularity. It seems local popularity on a player you receives doesn't work anymore in boosting fan support.
