That's an unknown bug (at least to me!) and should be reported to Tech Support.

I've confirmed that this happens in my game; I see exactly what you do. It affects all teams. It looks like it takes the a player in alphabetical order by last name and uses that for all positions. Check the Reds, you'll see Andy Abad.

I don't know that this is a bug with the roster set or the game.

I like the fact that a lot of guys are already hurt. I have had a complaint that there is not a 'Mass Heal All Injured' button.

I don't know if you've noticed, but there are probably two dozen players that are healthy but walking timebombs, with high injury ratings already in place. If you want an example, use the editor and look at Ken Griffey Jr.
