Frankly, the idea of suspending any leagues for this "war" is inane IMHO.
It's the equivalent of setting the 1927 Yankees against a junior college team. This so-called "war" should not cause us to postpone anything. The media coverage makes this out to be some blockbuster Jerry Bruckheimer film. The on air commentary is reminiscent of a bunch of paranoid Chicken Littles, yelling that the sky is falling.
As a side note, I completely support our troops, so don't even think of accusing me of that. Simply put, they have infinitely more to fear from "friendly fire" and the "fog of war"
