GM Comment: Very young at 22 to be pitching in the major leagues. he moved through the Jays system very fasr and may have been rushed a little bit. He has fantastig stuff and control and throws very hard. I see him as being a future setup man but he is going to take some time to get there.

MR Jorge Navarro
Age: 32 Height: 5'10" Weight: 179 lbs

Drafted: 19th Round 566th Overall in 200 Inagural Draft by the Washington Nationals. Traded to Toronto in 2003 by Washington.

Contract: $607,000/1 year
GM Comment: He is not a very good reliever but because of the lack of depth in the bullpen in the minors he is on the big leaue club. He doesn't have great stuff or control and won't blow guys away. I don't see him being anything more than a mop up guy if he makes the team this year.

GM Comment: The only lefty in the Jays pen. He doesn't have very good stuff but has very good control. Lefties hit only .215 against him (unfortunately righties hit .356). He will likely be back as my situational lefty next year.

MR Gunner 'Voodoo' Parker

Drafted: 18th Round 521st Overall in 2004 By Toronto.

GM Comment: The future closer of the staff. This big right hander from Missouri can really bring it. He can top 100 MPH on the radar gun and throws 3 pitches for strikes.

MR Bill Holmes

Drafted: Signed as a Non-Drafted free agent by Atlanta in 2001. Traded to Toronto in 2006.

GM Comment: He looks like he could be a good set up man. He doesn't have great stuff but throws hard and has very good control and movement. He will likely be the setup man next year in Toronto.

CL Kyeong-eon 'Gremlin' Kim

Drafted: Drafted in the 16th round of 453rd overall in the 2000 inagural draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks. He was released by Arizona and signed by Toronto in 2000 as a free agent.
2006 Stats: 9-3 37 SV 2.51 ERA
Contract: $1,590,000/2 year
GM Comment: The 4 time allstar has been the stopper in the back of the bullpen since his roolie season in 2001. He has amassed 216 career saves. He is still signed for 2 more years at a very reasonable price, but could fetch a fair return on the open market

GM Comments:

Quite honestly with the exception of CL Kyeong-eon Kim and MR Gunner Parker the bullpen just flat out sucks. This is going to be atop priority in the offseason to upgrade the bullpen. Kim could make very good traid bait and will likely be shopped in the offseason, but I won't trade him unless I can get good value for him in return.
