Spring Training Concludes: Blue Jays Announce Roster
March 31st, 2014.
Toronto Blue Jays GM Ryan Stewart announced the Blue Jays 25 man roster that will open up their regular season at home against the Detroit Tigers on April 8th 2014. The roster remains largely intact from the World Championship winning team from last season, but the starting rotation will feature a new arm in SP Ritchie MacGruder. GM Ryan Stewart "SP Ritchie MacGruder had a very strong Spring going 4-1 with a 3.86 ERA and won the #5 starter's job. SP Salvador Parades struggled a little bit going 2-2 with a 5.65 ERA and showed that he needs a little more time at AAA Syracuse. He has electric stuff and at just 21 still has a bright future ahead of him"
