The Toronto Blue Jays enter the month of September having clinched first place in the American League East division. They put up another strong month with a 24-5 record, pushing their overall record to a Major League leading 106-29. They have a 39.5 game lead on the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and a 48.5 game lead on the Boston Red Sox.
