Pitcher cloned - playing two positions at once

Don't know if anyone else has seen this before, but I just ran into a very odd one.

I was playing out a game and was on the Substitutions screen, preparing to drag a pitcher warming up in the bullpen over to the #9 spot in the lineup to put him in as the pitcher, as the pinch-hitter I used in the #9 hole just ended the inning. But I accidentally moved the mouse too quickly and dragged the cursor all the way off the OOTP playing window. Now, I don't remember ever "un-clicking" after I did this (maybe I did), but when I looked, the pitcher was sitting in the #9 spot and pitching, even though I didn't drag him directly into that #9 spot. So I moved on - thinking all was well and that I must have gotten close enough to the #9 spot when I dragged him over that it knew what I meant.

Well, my new pitcher got through the top half of the inning fine, but when we came back up to bat again, I noticed that my pitcher was leading off the inning in the #1 spot. I also noticed he was playing CF. Somehow, when I accidentally dragged him off the screen, he replaced both my #9 hitter (at pitcher) and #1 hitter (at CF) simultaneously! He was in my lineup twice at both positions! I pinch hit for the #1 hitter instance of the pitcher with an OF, and after the inning, the #9 pitcher instance of the pitcher was still on the mound, so I was able to work around it. But I have no idea how it happened!

Anyway, it's definitely a bug, but it probably isn't easy to reproduce! Has anyone else seen anything like this? I basically cloned my pitcher by dragging him outside the OOTP game window. So if you're big on realism in your league, be careful about dragging your players around on the edges of the game window - you don't know what might happen!

Thanks!
