Dola,

In the week I just finnished a 25 year old David Ortiz just asked for a trade on a AI controled team. but that is more of him being in the wrong league, He was traded there halfway through last season to fill in for an injury (not by my it was two computer control teams making the trade) and now that his power numbers are rising, and the injured player is back, he wants on a team that will allow him to play everyday, and since this league is much more of a single/double league (the league lead in hr last season was 3, my whole team only hit 2) just about everyone on the team is a better "hitter", so he is only getting the PH duties and is very unhappy about it.

So it is possible to see great young players "demand" trades, but it's rare, and takes a lot of other things to happen.
