Montero Takes Home AL Batting Title

Toronto Blue Jays LF Felipe Montero hit the cover off of the ball all year long and today was awarded the American League Batting Title.

The 23 year old rookie hit .342 with 21 HR and 95 RBIs. He delivered 212 hits, including 31 2B, 10 3B. He played in 157 games and scored 138 runs.
