Arkell Strong Arms Red Sox, Tosses Shutout

In asplended 6-0 shutout performance, Bill Arkell of the Toronto Blue Jays subdued the Boston Red Sox on a 2 hitter at Fenway Park in Boston tonight.

Jays Manager Tomas Vega said in his post game comments "He kept hitting his spots and putting up zeros"

Arkell registered 9 strikeouts and walked 1 in the victory.

On the year to date Arkell is 13-3 in 23 starts with a 3.16 ERA and has thrown 159.2 innings giving up 130 hits, walked 39 and struckout 180.
