Toronto Rookie Biggest Vote-Getter in AL

The premier first-year player int he American League last month was LF Felipe Montero. Toronto's left fielder put up some big-time numbers to haul in his 3rd consecutive American League Rookie of the Month Award.

Montero hit at a .333 clip while collecting 0 HR and 12 RBIs and scoring 20 runs in 27 games.

This season Montero is batting .347 with 108 hits 11 HR 41 RBIs has walked 38 times and has an OBP of .425.
