With Giardi at manager, Hughes/Chamerlain/Kennedy fighting for spots in the rotation, Cabrera/Cano continuing to grow, I like the Yankees chances next year even without A-Rod. Personally, I feel Posada would be harder to replace.

Agreed. I started watching baseball, and supporting the Yankees, in the mid 90s with Pettite, Rivera, Posada, Jeter and Williams coming through, with 'graft' players like O'Neill and Martinez. Loved it. I've barely been able to raise an interest for the Giambi, Sheffield, A-Rod era. Should never have traded Soriano
