Never believe an injury code conspiracy theories. Randomly some of us will have this happen. The 42nd law of the internet says these are the folks who will post in a forum. The 53,000 OOTP owners who don't have this 'problem' remain silent, not even breaking away from their games to go on-line.
I'm pretty sure I've read that injury rates were made higher for spring training, which I also think is accurate. That's definitely where most of my big injuries occur. It's only the in-season time where I find more injuries occurring late.
