Blue Jays Fly North With 4 New Faces

April 3rd, 2010.

The Toronto Blue Jays headed home in preperation for the opening of the 2010 Regular Season and they brought 4 new faces with them. The rookies include MR Carlos 'Tracer' Yhuit, CL Steve 'Cookie Monster' Perkins, C Nick Cooper, and RF Alonso Martinez. GM Ryan Stewart on the Rookies "It was a fierce battle in camp but we wanted to bring the best team home with uss. C.Yhuit had a 0.96 ERA in 8 games, RF A.Martinez hit .406 with 5 HR and C Nick Cooper hit .324 with 1 HR and 6 RBI you can't ignore production like that. The bad news was we had to send some veterans down to AAA and they wern't really happy about losing their jobs but this is a business and we wan't to win. I believe these guys give us the best chance to do that"
