Weeks Best Player Honored By AL

The baseball must have looked as big as a balloon to 1B Nathan Wilder of the Blue Jays last week. The first baseman had a 6 game streach to remember end today and he was named American League Player of the Week. He went 10-19 to hit .526 with 3 HR and 11 RBI.

In 2008 Wilder is hitting .272 with 38 HR and 122 RBI and has scored 88 Runs.
