OOTP Developments Forums - View Single Post - Does Playing produce different stats then Simming?

It's hard to prematurely judge a game that has so many factors involved. My previous post spoke of OOTP4 and I still believe that since i played 20 seasons. But in the season and a half I'v played OOTP5 I do not see these differences. In fact the pitcher at the bottom of my rotation just completed his 35th straight inning only giving up 1 run with an average of 4 hits per game. He had a 28 inning streak going of no runs. thats 3 complete games and an 8 inning game. My pitchers EN is set to normal and he's B. He's 5 avoiding runs 3 against rightys and 6 against lefties. 2 and a half star pitcher. Back to the point. Neither the homeruns or the pitching seem different in OOTP5 from sim to play. But then again i'v only played 1 and a half seasons.
