I believe everybody has defferent opinions about what he/she likes or dislikes.
It can not be all that logial all the time, when it comes to the love for the sport teams. After all, watching sports is not our job, and it is not like how we raise kids.
I think everybody has a right to root for whatever team he/she likes, and it does not matter where you live.
Hell, I live in Tokyo but root for the Red Sox, with or without Matsuzaka/Okajima, and will root for them as long as I want. I loved the Red Sox even when I was in Boston in the early 90's, when all we had was Mo Vaughn and Phil Plantier.
Don't ask me why I like the Red Sox, though...
