Well the sequence in the proper 21st century has been
2001 : NL West (D-Backs)
2002 : AL West (Angels)
2003 : NL East (Marlins)
2004 : AL East (Red Sox)
2005 : AL Central (White Sox)
2006 : NL Central (Cardinals)
and given that every division has won it once in the last 6 years, to keep that sequence going would have to be the NL West's turn and if we want a new team to win that would have to be the Rockies, hence why I'd like to meet them in the WS (but for them to come just so close but not enough)
