I've been playing a fictional league for 4 years starting in 1980. Im the GM of the team called the Orlando Mohawks. At first my team stunk with high priced players. I replaced them with prospects and have been drafting high. Half of my top prospects were duds as they were 5-star prospects then throughout the season I was getting emails that there batting hasnt come around, or a kink was found in there pitching and they quickly fell to 1-star duds. The other half have been slow to reach Triple A but some have and Ive called them up because the minor league sheet said they are ready to play in the majors.
My 3 full years as manager has got me in last place and second-to-last place. The owner hasnt fired me. I thought when he emailed me that he wanted to WIN IT ALL, I was definately going to be fired. Nope. This time he's lowered his standards and said that I should at least finish at .500.
