Yes I am a Yankee fan but, too bad, I agree with Joe Torre when he says some of these umpires lack common sense. I would lump Bob Watson in that category but then I realize that he is just backing up Angel Hernandez and Derryl Cousins.

Tonight was off-limits anyway for Chamberlain, but we can only hope that he will have been unnecessary for Saturday. If they lose that game, there should be a protest lodged somewhere. With Watson? Oh. Never mind. Grrrrr.

This is the same crew that had to confer to get the call right when a runner ran out of the basepath onto the infield grass to avoid being tagged out. Took all four of 'em, but at least they got that right. The runner? Youkilis, who proceeded to argue vehemently even though replays show him tiptoeing through the tulips, so to speak. LOL.

Anyway, ejecting Chamberlain was bad enough. Fining and suspending him? He's a tough kid so it won't bother him, but he did not deserve that.
I agree.

Media just wanna make this a big deal to make the next Sox-Yankees series more exciting (unnecessarily)

It was a total frustration after the 3 straight losses that made Youkilis and some other Red Sox players (and a manager, I think it is pathetic. He should not have made any comments about it) made a fuss about the two pitches.

I'd say, "Just shut up and put up with the losses, and behave like a division leaders."
